Oregon, Portland - Report by Olivia. Today, we will give information about 10 things you must do when you're in Florence .
Florence is one of my favorite cities absolute in the world.
no matter how many times I go to Florence, I always discover something new.
I never get bored with Florence, and I never feel like I'm done.
Florence is magical.
here's a list of 10 things you must do when you're in Florence:

1. Take a walk at the beginning.
get up early (at least once while you're there) and go for a long walk.
Florence gets so filled with tourists during the day and night that it becomes almost impossible to get only once with its statues, its famous doors, large places. During the day you can almost never break a picture without cluttering it other travellers.
but at the beginning of the morning, the streets are empty, and it's all yours.

2. Eat boar
one of the Tuscan terroir is boar or wild boar.
each restaurant serves it, taken at their own recipe and it's fantastic.

3. Visit Church of Santa Croce
Florence is full of amazing churches with amazing art, and (for me) Santa Croce is one of the most spectacular.

(the art inside Santa Croce) considered to be the most impressive art Church in the whole of Florence. Cycles of frescoes of Giotto in triumphal cross of Cimabue breathtaking, the art of Santa Croce is spectacular.
it is also home to the most impressive tombs of Florence, the final resting place of Michelangelo, Rossini, Dante Alighieri, Ghiberti, Galileo and Machiavelli. Largely ignored by tourists, the Church of Santa Croce is an absolute must.

you choose to climb the 463 markets on top of the Cathedral, or perhaps much less stairs to the top of the Tower of the Palazzo Vecchio, stand up and admire the enchanting view of one of the most beautiful European cities.
5. Take long walks at night.
like the walks early in the morning are a must in Florence, are so long evening walks after the Sun has gone down.
one of the great loves of my life living in Florence, (if you'll fall in love, it might as well be with an Italian, right?) and for the many years of nights in Florence were synonymous with long walks around the city, taking in all the incredible palaces and churches, beautiful doors, statues, the essence of Florence bathed in the light of the moon.

as beautiful as she is by day, Santa Maria Del Fiore (the Duomo) is just mesmerizing per night. Florence is pure magic by night.

6. Look Up
while taking night of walking time you have the opportunity to see murals and ceilings incredible hidden during the day, but visible at night when people turn on their lights. When we would be outside during the night (and even now, as the dearest of friends) he always says "Search!" when we walk by the frescoes breathtaking on the upper floors of the palazzi, scattered throughout the city.

7. Take A Tour of a special place

when I was in Florence this past December I've been incredibly lucky to have a private tour of secret passages and rooms hidden on the Palazzo Vecchio. It was so impressive that I promised myself immediately whenever I go back to Florence, I'll take a little tour of a special place. This medieval town is full of passages and hidden corridors, it is art in the rafters, there is art behind the walls. It is a rich history of intrigue and treachery and means that there is constantly fascinating secret treasures to discover. The ideal way to experience it is with art historian you ask about all the stories, make them come alive for you.
magic.
8. Eat the best "sandwich" of your life

has a few blocks from Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery on via Dei Neri you will find Osteria All' Antico Pompéi
it's super easy to find because they have a trattoria on each side of the road and up to the end of each night , there are always people spread out on the sidewalk with sandwiches focaccia giant in one hand and large glasses of red wine, strong in the other, while queue brothers patiently in lines that weave in the street, wait as long as necessary to get their turn at the counter. I guarantee that you have never had a "sandwich" quite as before!
you can on command, but I learned people waiting with me in the line and the others having spasms or gourmet delight as they leaned against the walls or sitting on the curb eating their panini how to deal with this beast was the order of the displayed list of favorites. (90% of the patrons were all order the same thing, so I thought I'd just what they were doing.) Perhaps one of the biggest decisions I ever made.)
it is no nitrite, nitrate no food, no Monsanto, fresh, local, real.
, you won't find anything as crass as a fountain soda here, but you will find a selection of red wines the they sell by the bottle or by the glass.
and just how do you think the sandwich of the century will cost you? €5. It's the bargain of the century!

9. Explore Oltrarno
, literally "the other side of the Arno", there are so many things to see when you cross the river. You have large sites, the Pitti Palace, the gardens of Boboli, Piazzale Michelangelo and San Spirito with its Brunelleschi designed the Interior, but you also have medieval streets without end full of antique shops and local artisans. As you walk in you will find less and less tourists, which means the price of everything breaks down. It is easy to spend days on end lose you in the quarters of Florence - there is so much to discover.
while wandering to find your way to Santa Maria Del Carmine. The Cappella Brancacci houses a cycle of renaissance frescoes that changed the course of Western art. Started by Masaccio and Masolino in about 1424 and finished 50 years later by Filippino Lippi, this program uses a revolutionary technique can point using unique perspective. Turn to the pier of the superior to Adam and Eve left input and notice the dramatic way in which their bodies reflect a liGHT that seems to emanate from in the paint, but the outside world. It's beautiful.
10. Buy leather
Florence is known worldwide for its incredible leather goods.
If you are not at the point of Gucci and Prada price shopping, then it comes to town for you! You can buy beautifully made leather bags, belts, luggage, wallets and jackets all over Florence, especially on the San Lorenzo market, but there are no more what you buy, or that you buy to ensure that you are getting good quality and not a Made In China rip off.
for years and years now, I've been buying my very dear friend Jimmy Ahmed Jimmy leather collection leather. I have sent so many people to Jimmy over the years, and everyone is always super happy to go there. Learn more about the purchase of leather in Florence here
I give a bonus tip, because I can't refine it until just 10 tips of Bonus...
eat Panforte

fact of Panforte with coffee for a perfect snack in the middle of the morning |
this is actually a delight of Sienese, but you can find it everywhere in Florence. Not a bread, and still not quite a cake panforte is a divine combination of nuts, dried fruit, honey and spices flourless. My favorite type is Mandorlata. You do so much walking all day in Florence, it is easy to justify a small slice with your morning cappuccino.
