each year, I would like to spend a few weeks in Italy.

the people always ask me where to sleep in Tuscany , especially if they do not seek a hotel too homogenized experience.

personally, I like to rent an apartment, rent a car and drive around Tuscany, finding no end spectacular cities and towns that are not in the guidebooks.

I would be super close to Florence and not too far from Rome . In a country where such a fantastic rail system, I like to be pretty close to a train station, it is easy to make a day of last-minute trip to Venice , Pompeii or maybe - everywhere where it feels like fun this day here. 

I want to relax in the piazza, drinking cappuccino and watching the world go by. Buy local markets for fresh, all products grown within a radius of 10 miles and taken to be sold today, with flavor that explodes in your mouth. (Unlike the factory without flavor of livestock produce here in the United States)
to there nothing quite like having a local supplier to choose items for you and you say how to prepare in the way of their family generations have done for centuries and then go home to your beautiful Tuscany apartment, thrown together and enjoy it, really enjoy with a local Sangiovese , or maybe a Brunello, live the life of luxury.

I love my Italian apartment full of freshly picked flowers and sprigs of fresh rosemary, the greatest combined olfactory pleasure which tells my brain, I'm really, really here.

with her husband Piergiorgio she bought an old, dilapidated closed on a small hill overlooking the spectacular Crete Senesi. They have rebuilt, renovated and restored with traditional materials, creating a home that, at the same time, is visually mesmerizing, maintains the historical truth, but is equipped with modern comforts. Its called Podere Cunina.

there are 2 two bedroom apartments and 5 one bedroom apartments, each of them is just gorgeous.

Podere Cunina is located 3 km outside Buonconvento , near Siena . An easy walk to Rome or Florence it is set in the perfect location to drive in Tuscany and really lived the Majesty of this amazing part of the world.

after a long day enjoy yourself it's all just lovely to sit on the patio and have a prosecco as you watch the Sun put the Montalcino neighbors (one of my favorite cities in the whole Italy).

fans love the region, because it is home to Brunello, one of my red favorite of all time.

Silvana is the ultimate host. She always has ideas of great places to see and experience. She always tells me about the fabulous villages that are the tour bus (fortunately) do not know, is where the best local markets informed constantly and when, what restaurants and coffee you must not miss and has the most beautiful stories on this spectacular of the world group.

lovers Under The Tuscan Frances Mayes Sun , and its subsequent volumes of life in Tuscany will love Cortona driving to , which is not too far away and spending the day's walk at every moment in his world of delicious Tuscany. (I think at this point I probably know his books by heart)

summer is not the only time to enjoy Tuscany. Spring and autumn are beautiful, and this past year I've benefited too little magic before Christmas in Tuscany.
